Wilma Van Vaerenbergh, a native of St. Thomas arrived at Lifestyle in 2012 with 20 years of advertising sales experience and 5 years experience in the printing industry. She has an abundance of energy and enjoys working with the entire team to ensure a smooth production process.
With a writing career that has taken her from Ontario’s lakes (Power Boating Canada), on travel adventures (The London Free Press) and into award-winning gardens (Canadian Gardening), Jill Ellis-Worthington loves telling compelling stories. Writing about home construction and renovations are among her favourite topics.
Ellen-Ashton-Haiste is an award-winning writer and editor with more than 30 years’ experience with magazines and newspapers across Canada. A graduate of the Carleton University School of Journalism, she currently operates her own freelance business, FreelanceInk, based in St. Thomas.
Heather Toskan, a Toronto native and a national fashion and beauty editor, knows the glamour industry from the inside out. An associate professor in Fanshawe College’s fashion and aesthetics programs for nearly 20 years, she travels frequently on editorial assignments that include Montreal and Toronto Fashion Weeks, and Tiff.
Beth Stewart, a practising artist and secondary school teacher, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a fine arts studio major, and a a Bachelor of Education in visual arts and English. She is actively involved in the local arts scene and has been working as a freelance writer and editor since 2002.
Clare Dear is a national award-winning journalist whose writing interests include the automotive scene. Based in London, he’s also an experienced photographer and copy editor. Clare and his wife Diane, have two grown children – a daughter and a son – and one grandchild.
Born in Montreal, Jay Menard studied English Language and Literature at the then-University of Western Ontario. He rose through the ranks to become Editor-in-Chief of The Gazette. Jay’s work has been seen in the Toronto Star, the National Post, the London Free Press, the Ottawa Citizen, and the Metro network of newspapers.
John Milner studied journalism at Lambton College and began writing freelance articles and reviews for a number of publications including London This Week, Canoe Sports and Shelf Life Magazine. John has been a member of the Write On Communications Services staff since April 2015. He has written multiple articles for Lifestyle Magazine, the Londoner and Strathroy Age Dispatch.
After graduating with a Masters Degree in Journalism, Kathy Rumleski has followed her passion for telling meaningful stories across Canada and in different countries. She has worked for daily newspapers in B.C. and Ontario and has covered international events, including the Olympics, along with politics, arts and parenting. Kathy also works for CTV London.
Richard Bain is one of Ontario’s most well-known landscape a photographers, with 18 table-top books to his credit. After a graduating from the University of Western Ontario, he began his career as a professional photographer, concentrating on corporate and commercial photography. He has been working for Lifestyle since 2002.
Jan McGrath’s background encompasses teaching secondary school art as well as a career as an artist/illustrator with CFPL-TV, UWO and The London Free Press, followed by advertising sales which includes 7 years with Lifestyle Magazine. Living in Port Franks, she enjoys assisting her clients in London and areas north.
Lorraine Lukings is a sales professional with an edge that makes her a perfect fit for Lifestyle Magazine. “I’ve been in sales for over 20 years but working with clients in the home and design fields is perfect because I love interior decorating and gardening,” she explains. She frequently visits her clients in St. Thomas, Port Stanley and London because she feels that “service is key to a successful relationship in our business.”
Elaine Norris brings her 35 years of retail experience to the position of Account Manager. With a background in both management and purchasing, she understands customer focus. Elaine has always enjoyed a small town lifestyle, thus her friendly approach to clients.
An enthusiastic salesperson with over two decades of experience, Annette Gent brings her engaging personal style and positive perspective to Lifestyle Magazine. When not busy spending time exercising or with her family hiking and mountain biking, she can be found volunteering with various charities and sporting events.
Maintaining a long time experience with electronic and print media in this ever changing field, Bill currently supports his online local community of Lambton Shores as well as providing the ad creation for Jan McGrath’s clients.

Nancy Greenfield has been involved in print and graphic design for most of her adult life. She has worked on print and design projects while residing in Calgary, Kelowna, Toronto and London. Nancy has designed and co-produced projects for Bowes Publishers/Quecbecor, Lifestyle and numerous freelance projects.

Wendy Reid is an award-winning graphic designer, illustrator and fine artist. She holds a design diploma with honours from Fanshawe College’s Art and Design program and has over 25 years of experience designing for ad agencies, newspapers and magazines.
Rob Redding has been immersed in the world of web and graphic design for over a decade. He is the owner and operator of Redding Designs Inc., a successful web boutique that employs ten people, and serves hundreds of clients around the world. He helps all his clients, big and small, develop a world-class digital marketing and web presence.
