Personalized Service at Bijou Boutique
Bijou Boutique in the heart of Byron, customers are treated to singular service and expertise. It’s a shop where relationships are fostered. “This independent boutique is a place you can come in and build a personal relationship and receive one-on-one attention,” says owner Mansi Patel. “These connections last into the future.”
Patel has curated a collection of unique daytime apparel and also garments for stepping out on the town. “From everyday wear, to daily occasions, to elegant social events, it’s a place you can find quality women’s clothing and dresses,” she says.
Bijou Boutique was established in 2013, and Patel purchased the store in June, 2025. With a master’s degree in business and experience in sales and marketing as well as customer relations, Patel always dreamed of owning a business. “That was a goal all of my life to have a business of my own,” she says. Patel also owns Curiosities Gift Shop in Wortley Village.
This fall, Bijou Boutique will offer new lines of clothing at the shop. Designers include Part Two, Minus, YAYA, Sunday and Ozai N Ku. “We want to introduce new brands that we believe our customers will be interested in and enjoy wearing,” Patel says.
Clothing by popular designers such as Joseph Ribkoff and Brenda Beddome will continue to be available. “They’ve been well received by our customers.” She says the colours at this time of year are her favourite. “I love the warm and deeper tones of the season as well as the designs. You can layer our clothing. It’s easy to stay in fashion during the cooler weather.” Bijou Boutique is also expanding its outreach to attract a wide range of ages and tastes. “We are catering to our new customers as well,” she says.

While Bijou Boutique is open Tuesday to Saturday, Patel will also book customers in advance on Sundays and Mondays for those who would like an even more personalized experience and extra time. “We’re happy to offer these personal appointments and styling,” she says. Bijou Boutique also provides online shopping and delivery throughout Canada.
